Bella Hardy: With the Dawn
Bella Hardy: With the Dawn

Design for Bella Hardy's critically acclaimed album described by the Sunday Times as “nothing short of a masterpiece”. The design was inspired by the idea of journeys, making connections and junctions/disjunctions, themes that became apparent when discussing the album with Bella; most of the songs were written on the road. In developing the design and art direction I worked closely with photographer, Alex Boyd.

Yann Seznec: Helmsdale

Yann Seznec's album, Helmsdale was the result of an artist residency during which Yann attempted to record every instrument he could find in the small Highlands town in which he was based. When briefing me on the album, Yann scrolled through a bunch of photographs he'd taken of the locations of each recording. These became my source material for a few hours of pen and ink drawing, zooming in, out and across the details of the photographs.
